I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for spring. The Winter Solstice might have happened less than a month ago, but in my mind once the Christmas tree comes down and the house shapeshifts back to a normal state – spring is basically here. It’s officially time to dust off the cobwebs, give the house a deep clean and then tackle one dreaded spot – the wardrobe. Full of tartan dresses, plaid shirts, festive jumpers and sequinned LBDs, it’s finally time to pull them all out because it’s time to feel fresh as we step into 2022, with an uncluttered mind and an uncluttered body too.
Tackling my wardrobe is always a complete task, so being able to pack some key pieces away until I need them towards the end of the year is a godsend. Now, with all my festive favourites packed away, I’m more that ready to return to a simpler style of life with neutral hues, muted prints and simple shapes – those uniform pieces that make getting dressed less stressed so I can start the year right.
